Do you do MADE TO ORDER garments?: I no longer do gowns made to order I just do one off gaments. Keep an eye out on insta and face book for those! I occasionally do bridesmaid orders when I have the time but only some set styles and only using my own vintage fabrics
What is the size guide for MADE UP GARMENTS?: The guide for sizing is below but I'll also provide measurements of garment for you, if you are unsure if a garment will fit please email me your measurements and I'll try it on my dummy first
Is fabled and true made in Australia?: YES! All garments are designed and sewn by little old me in my sewing room in QLD xx.
Are all fabrics Vintage??: All printed fabrics and the majority of lace and trims are either preloved, recycled, re purposed or vintage to give you a one off garment or one of only a few. I'll let you know which in the discription or on the tag . .
Do you lend out stock for photoshoots?: Well yes I sure do! Just let me know the details... who's invoved (with links to pages if possible), the concept, when, where, model sizes and the number of garments and if you need me to be there (Yay, a break from sewing) or not ( I have too much sewing to do anyway) Just be sure to give me a least a couple of weeks notice so I can make sure I have some things available for you
How long will it take to recieve my fabled and true?
Do you post international?: YES! Postage to the UK is around 10pounds and can take up to 3 weeks. If you have questions about international postage please just shoot me and email as there are express options they are a little more expensive though xxxxxx
What is your return policy?: We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. We provide the size as well as measurements for each garment so please double check before purchase as sizes between stores can differ, if you are still unsure if it'll fit send your measurements through and I'll try it on my dummy for you first.
If you would like to exchange a product you have bought, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to inform us that you plan to return your purchase. All items must be returned unworn, unwashed and with all original tags still attached. If posting your item back to us it is recommended that you use a form of registered mail to return your item as it remains your responsibility until we receive it. We do not give refunds if you change your mind so please choose carefully.

All purchases of sale items (including flash sales and use of discout codes) cannot be returned or exchanged so please choose carefully.

Vintage fabrics, clothing and accessories have lived long exciting lives and they often have minor flaws which add to their character. We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of the products on our website a We will of course happily refund or repair an item if it is faulty.

There is no refund or return on made to order garments as they have been made up especially for you. Because of this I ask that you choose the style and fabric very carefully and be sure to follow the measurement guide and measure accurately so that you are happy with your garment and it is a perfect fit, if on the off chance you are not happy with your purchase please let me know and I will do what I can to help.
How should I wash my garment?: Vintage garments and fabrics are delicate so I recommend you treat each piece with the unique attention it deserves. I suggest that you consider only hand washing or dry cleaning your precious new piece. Old fabrics are sensitive to our harsh new cleaning products so try to use products sparingly when washing and do not wash your garment too frequently. *Fabled and true cannot be held responsible for washing accidents, so please treat your new piece with lots of love.
What forms of payment do you accept?: We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.
How secure is this store?: This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?: No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it.
